Mindset began in 2020.

I was contacted by Murendeni aka Rudi'Kasi from Limp City, who had mesmerizing beats to share with me and the rest is the future."

With this endeavor, I appreciated his neo-soulful atmosphere, patience, and direction. It took over two years to write, including coping with lost files, laptop failures, covid, and load shedding. It looks at how perspective-shifting might help change one's thought processes about life, especially their own. It deals with abandoning oneself and finding oneself at the same time. Mind Set explores a rebirth of Ms Isis as she slides back into the hip-hop/neo-soul genre like she always has been. It features Bongani GiveThanks, Zibu, and more. and was produced by Murendeni Nethengwe.
